Your choices remain yours
Coaching helps you see the options and their consequences. It does not make personal or business decisions for you.
She Takes the Chair was created for women who want to rebuild their work without being told to simply think bigger, be braver or push harder.
She Takes the Chair
Your experience.
Your ambition.
Your terms.
The founder
I founded She Takes the Chair because the usual career and business language often misses the point. If your confidence, decisions or income changed inside a harmful relationship, another productivity system is unlikely to be the whole answer.
My work brings together coach training, trauma-informed practice and experience of leadership. We look at the history without making it your identity, then bring the conversation back to the practical questions in front of you: whether to return, change direction or grow; what to ask for; what to stop tolerating; and what kind of working life you now want.
This is coaching and education rather than clinical treatment. You can ask about my approach, training and whether the programme fits what you need before deciding to work together.
A harmful or controlling relationship can affect much more than self-belief. It can shape the price you feel allowed to charge, the clients you tolerate, the hours you work and how much attention feels safe.
We connect those experiences to real choices in your career or business. You learn to notice the response, settle enough to think clearly, find the words you need and put better structures around your work.
You will not be pressured to disclose details, perform confidence or move faster than is useful. You will be expected to make decisions, test new behaviour and take practical steps towards the working life you want.
She Takes the Chair offers education, reflection and future-focused coaching. It does not diagnose or treat trauma and is not a substitute for therapy, legal advice, financial advice or crisis support.
How the work is held
Coaching helps you see the options and their consequences. It does not make personal or business decisions for you.
There will be challenge and practice, but no shame, forced disclosure or pressure to perform a version of confidence.
Your income needs, available hours and responsibilities matter when choosing a role, negotiating pay or building a business.
